That is the way to do it.

That only sets the finish time before you log the QSO - other wise it  
takes the time you pressed the "Log QSO" button.

It's a valid question - there is currently no easy way to do this -  
once you have logged a QSO you have to edit the finish time in the  
log panel - I'll look into adding an "Update QSO Finish Time" command.
