[Ham-Mac] What to do with some old mac's?

As others have said, recycling/trashing them is the best bet. They're 
too old to be of much practical use (heck, I tried to get our 2 1/2 
year old to play with an old Quadra 700, he wouldn't have it, he 
wanted at least an iMac running OSX ;-)

Most charities won't take such old machines either, usually they 
refuse 486 and lower PCs and non PPC Macs (if they even know what a 
Mac is). Sometimes you can find a clueless Goodwill store that will 
accept it, and later come back and find a $200 price tag on it ;-)

If it has a decent sized HD, you could always install MacBSD on it 
and play around with that.
