Reminds me of the time that I decided to buy a non-iPod music player
because I liked the features of the other device better. Well, after
over a week, and an essentially ruined vacation, spent installing
software on the PC upgrading firmware, installing updated software
again, etc. mixed in with the Windows and Norton upgrades and all the
accompanying reboots I finally got it working, sort of.
Then, I decided I had had enough screwing around with it and bought
the iPod I should have bought in the first place. Brought it home and
in about ten minutes on the mac, I was all done. boring!
Now if someone would pick up the ball with Echomac and add conference
mode and alarms I would never have to turn the darned PC on!
Which reminds me, has anyone tried EchoLinux on the Mac or the Unix
version if there is one and does it have those features or is it
"bare-bones" like the Mac version.
Don't get me wrong I like Echomac and use it a lot but do miss those
two features.
