I currently have a Pismo and a Wallstreet but decided to upgrade to a
newer/faster machine last year. I decided to go with the 14" G4 iBook
(1.2 GHz at the time, it's now 1.33 GHz). I'm extremely happy with the
purchase! I did add the larger drive (80GB), 1.25 GB RAM, and internal
Bluetooth. There was some special on memory upgrades at the time and
it was at my door in 3 days for about $1500. I just could not bring
myself to drop $2000+ as I have the last 4 times I've purchased Apple
laptops. As a matter of fact, I factored in the saving and was able to
purchase my XYL a reburb 12" iBook and still be within $100 of my
budget! The only thing I'd do differently is to get a Superdrive next
time. The DVD/CDRW is fine but I miss being able to burn DVDs as I do
with my desktop.

Do yourself a favor and drop into an Apple Store and do a comparison.
The iBook is no longer the toy laptop it was originally. I'd buy
another in a minute!
