I am not an engineer, but I deal with audio professionally. Chris is
right on this one. As long as the input impedance is high and the output
is lower effectivly all modern circuit are happy. If the output is
unhappy, just add a load resistor. For a speaker out I would pick
something like 20-50 ohms. That should cause enough current flow for the
output to be happy but not drag the voltage down much so the input will
still have enough to work with.
