[Ham-Mac] MacOS X x86 Intel Support

I saw a news article on Yahoo that mentioned that Apple was going to use 
the same CPU that PC's use. No clue how accurate that is since it didn't 
quote Apple on that.

If they really go that way I have very mixed feelings about it.

If it runs in regular PC motherboards with BIOS on it then I wouldn't mind 
running OS X on some of my present PC's.

Knowing Apple, they would probably use motherboards that use Open Boot 
instead of a PC Bios. They can't compete in the regular PC Motherboard 
market, the hardware is too cheap, and they always want to lock out 
competition.

IBM is talking about deals for new Power PC chips that are 10X the speed of 
the fastest Intel chip for the game industry. So most likely this very 
risky change is due to a personality quirks, Jobs is very smart but he can 
be too obstinate sometimes.
