Do you have Stuffit installed?

If so, re-install Stuffit, making sure that you're installing the  
latest version.

It probably wouldn't hurt to discard com.stuffit.DropStuff.plist,  
com.stuffit.Engine.plist and com.stuffit.Expander.plist when you do  
this.
