Yes, a lot of people were using them with 2.4 GHz downconverters when 
AO-40 was active, but didn't you find the bandscope feature slow and 
limited to 5 kHz steps as well as not working in CW, USB or LSB ?

I guess the IC-756 has spoiled me :)
