[Ham-Mac] Wires II system (Voice over Internet)

I've never heard of a mac version of WIRES, nor is there a "sysop"
version of EchoMac. EchoMac is a GUI wrapped, recompiled version of
echolinux. Sadly echolinux was never fully developed into a full
blown product.

Find an older PC, put a basic Windows OS (WIN NT or 2000 if it will
run) and firewall of your choosing and let the WIRES machine run in
the corner. If you put very little software on a windows machine it
is actually pretty stable. Same applies for an Echolink or IRLP node.
Strip it down, let it alone and it will run fine.
