Sorry, realise this is a little late, just trying to catch up on some old
mail while the XYL cooks the Turkey :-)

I use MLDX to print my cards - I took a photo that I wanted for the
background, played with various horizontal slices, changing the colour
saturation etc using Photoshop elements, so some light text showed up etc.

Not bad, a professional would do a better job, I think its acceptable for
now. 
It means I can print cards directly from MLDX for my QSOs onto 165 g/msq
paper with my Epson Ink Jet

I hope to upgrade my licence next year, may look at getting something done
then.
