[Ham-Mac] USB - Serial

This sounds like a USB/serial adapter that uses the Prolific chipset.
There is an extension for use under classic, and an installer for
OSX. Note that if you install under OSX, you probably can't use it
under classic.
Also, my experience has been that Prolific based USB adapters work
terribly on the Mac, if at all. FTDI based designs work the best,
Keyspan adapters are not bad.
