This is indeed a problem. Here the qt library seems to work different on 
Mac OS X and on Linux.
I have to make a major redesign to fix this. So it's not done on the fly.

But be aware: If you are using BPSK, the transmitted codes have 
different lengths. Small letters use fewer bits than capital letters.

RST and FREQUENCY are not available at the moment ( why ??? Has to be done )
