both of those should be ok.. i keep the internet away from my pc laptop 
as well for the same reason - mac viruses are rare, thankfully. usb 
transfer is easy, so is burning a pc compatible cd rom on the mac then 
carrying it to the pc. actually you should be able to network the two 
machines rather easily if you use OS X but I don't think i would be 
much help there. allegedly it is simple though.. as simple as it gets 
anyway...
