No, not at all, it VPC 7 will also run on Mac G4, according the this tech
support guy. I've given up on VPC 6, it needs reactivation and rebuilding
nearly EVERY time I run it. I did find out one VERY important thing - NEVER
use Virtual PC's "Save All & Quit"!! Despite that it seems like the right
thing to do, it's extremely buggy. The Microsort tech said the way to get
out of Virtual PC is ALWAYS and ONLY by going to the Start menu (real
intuitive, one more reason Window blows - wanna turn off, go to Start!)
Anyway, go to START, choose Turn Off Computer, when the dialog asks you if
you want to Turn Off, Turn Off. AFTER windows goes away but your Virtual PC
screen is still up, THEN and only then, quit (but NOT SAVE ALL & QUIT).This
will allegedly save lots of corrupt episodes.

As for MMTTY I have no experience with that, but to run a USB device with
VPC, go to the PC List menu selection, open PC list, open Settings for that
Windows disk you are running, the Enable the particular USB device in the
USB window. If you are using a USB device as a serial port, do NOT enable
it, but instead, go to COM 1 or 2 and select the USB adapter there.
