I have had good luck with all the Keyspan adapters:

Basically any USB/Serial adapter that has a driver for the Mac OS you 
are using should work.
... but MacLoggerDX does not support some of the PDA adapters.

If you choose an adapter with a true RS-232 port...

... instead of a mac-type RS-422 port...

the cabling is simpler - but either will work.
