I have a Radio Shack 'throat microphone.' It's no longer made, but
still available in some stores. Part number 21-1835. It does not
cancel noise, but blocks it to a large extent. Similar mics are
offered on Web sites that cater to off-road motorcycle enthusiasts
who also work a radio in a noise environment.
