[Ham-Mac] virtual pc/contest loggers

Some advice please!

I have Virtual PC 2.1 with Windows 95 coming (bought
on eBay for $9)...
I want to use a contest logging program with it...
mostly for ARRL DX, CQWW and SS phone contests.

Any suggestions which would work best (less crashing,
etc.)? Does the freeware logger program work good (I
forget the name of it), or should I spend money and
get TR or whatever.
