Clark,

You are correct for the machines you mentioned but on newer hardware 
this is not true.  See Apple support article: 
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25114 .  You will notice 
on the OS compatibility grid it shows that the G5 and G4 (2003 mirrored 
drive version) are not compatible with OS 9.  This does not mean you 
can not run it in Classic mode from OSX but you can not boot OS 9 on 
these (and all future) Apple computers.  See

The whole point of my initial comment was really to say that while it 
is nice that there is an OS 9 version, they really need to create one 
for OSX as it is the future of the platform.  BTW, I have not had OS 9 
installed on any of my Macs for over 2 years now.  Just no reason to do 
so.  I'd rather write an OSX app for the Winradio than run it in 
Classic.
