Along similar lines, has anyone seen a recent list of
Apple "code names" for products? I came across one, but
lost track of it.

Editorial: If some people, even those at Apple that
interact with "customers," seem to need to validate their
credibility by the use of code names, why is there no
consistent use of the code names and model names? Why isn't
there an easy to find list? Why will Apple not publish a
code name reference list? End of Editorial
