[Ham-Mac] Blue Screen iMac

Hello all,

I had a power outage yesterday and now my iMac 266 Mhz blue and gray
desktop computer comes up with a blank blue screen (no
icons/desktop). I followed all the procedures listed in Apple
support knowledge database and it seems that I have a file directory
issue using fsck. It says "overlapped extent allocation" (file
841318d). How do I fix this problem? I have tried booting up with a
Mac OS 9 cd but that doesn't seem to work either. The happy Mac icon
appears on the screen but it just sits there and doesn't come up with
the desktop screen. Please respond to my email address rather than
this reflector because I am in digest mode and only get a batch of
emails once a day. I am fortunate to still have this Power Mac 7500
OS 9.1 so I can send out this email. I appologize for using this
reflector but I am desperate to get it fixed so I can use the digital
modes of ham radio.

Thanks,

Jerry WA0BFD
