[Ham-Mac] serial port advice needed please

Not to worry, There are some excellent OS X software packages for ham 
radio.   MacLogger DX, and Multimode OSX are a couple I use with Keyspan 
serial USB adapters and a Kenwood radio.  MacLogger DX supports a host 
of radios under OSX.  If your radio is not supported, contact the 
author, he is unusually responsive.  Plus the price is right, the 
product is outstanding.
