Ah, OK, I misunderstood, I though you were saying that some of what 
was transmitted was using a proprietary protocol, which AFAIK would 
be a big no-no.

I am looking into adding PACTOR support to MultiMode at some point. 
Software timing seems to be the critical issue at the moment.

When/if I get that done, there would always be the possibility of 
someone writing the necessary WinLink code that uses MultiMode as the 
"modem". Such code could also use a TNC as well, of course. Since 
MultiMode now offers a TCP/IP server for passing data, it should be 
pretty easy to use it as a modem, perhaps after adding the ability to 
control the various modes via TCP/IP (or Applescript) as well.
