No, don't let me lead you astray ! - it was only my assumption that it 
was closed.

It sounds like your experiences were more along the lines of my number 
2 option:

"2) We aren't working on one but we would be glad to help with 
documentation and technical support to any team that wants to take this 
on."

That's fantastic ! It sounds like there is some support on the list for 
this if you decide to finish the option in RDCP+/Mac.
