But Steve - you don't work the satellites - why would you buy it ?

Actually MacDopplerpRO X sales did tank for a month or two after the 
release of OrbitaX but have since recovered. As Sergei will tell you - 
I have encouraged him to continue development on OrbitaX - and even 
issued him with a free upgrade to MacDopplerpRO X 2.0 to show that 
there are no hard feelings.

Unfortunately no one has stepped forward to help him with the plug-in 
radio drivers - I know this will strike a chord with you as similarly 
no one has stepped forward to help you with EchoMac.

The reality of it is that most programmers are busy earning a living 
and don't have a lot of spare time to spend writing software for Mac 
Hams.
