I really have to wonder if there is such a great consensus here - why 
they are all private and off list messages to you alone ?

Most of the posters ON list have voiced exactly the opposite sentiments.

I also must assume that Chris has received a large number of private 
responses embarrassed at the tone and lack of civility in this thread - 
I know I have received a large number of private emails to that effect.

But good luck with your new project - the more people writing software 
for the Mac Ham market - the more Hams will use Macs and that's good 
for everyone.
