[Ham-Mac] stick with the pioneers

Chris,

I am mortified by some recent comments regarding your work.

In the dark days- when there appeared a real chance that the Mac was to
be killed- you were there, slugging it out. And those of us who have
been around awhile have long memories.

You almost single-handedly brought life to the Mac as a Ham platform.
And I for one appreciate your efforts more, and than I can say, and I
am confident that this is the attitude of many, many people.

So. Are there problems with Multimode? yep. And I know that you are the
first one to point them out! But no excuse for boorish rude behavior
towards someone who has given so much.

The Mac is sometimes a lonely machine. Users: deal with it or go
somewhere else. And if you find a dedicated guy who puts his life and
income on the line to develop stuff for your hobby, support him. Buy
his stuff. Give him suggestions. If they are good, he will use them. If
you are obnoxious, and I bet that's the explanation for at least one
story related here, I am guessing he ignores you. I would.

There's only one way to get someone to do what you want them to do, and
so far, I've seen darn little of it here on this board.

Respectfully,
