Michael,

In your first message you mentioned your end goal is to move to Linux.
You do know that you can run quite a bit of Linux software on your OSX
box. And speaking of that why don't you get off your butt and do
something about the lack of software. I bet it would not be too hard
to port ACRSD to OSX. Oh wait, you want everyone else to do it for
you so you can use it for free and probably still bitch about it.

One thing, I quote: "The source code is available to all!!! Wow! Very
Impressive! And it's developing freeware Chris!!! " This is WRONG.
The software is available at no cost and you can download an installer
for Linux and Windows but there is absolutely no source code that I
could find. If there was I would have taken a look at it. I did
however download one of the client programs and now have it running on
my PowerBook. Hmm, that was hard. Took all of 60 seconds.

In the future if you find some Linux software that you think would be
nice to have on the Mac all you have to do is mention it nicely on the
list and maybe someone will take a look at it and see what is involved
it getting it running on OSX. However the wrong way is to attack
people and talk out your ass about things you seem to know little
about.

Relax, have a nice Easter weekend and come back a little toned down and
you might find things are not as bleak as you think.
