I don't think his comments were a troll.  Although I might have worded 
my comments somewhat differently, his basic premise is in my opinion, 
absolutely correct. That is - there is more ham radio software 
available for the PC/Windows group than there are for Mac believers. 
There is a lot more competition among programs on the PC side - 
commercial, shareware, and freeware - and this has resulted in a better 
choice of programs, and higher quality.

I don't have a PC, and I don't have Virtual PC. I have, however, seen 
and used some of the PC/Windows programs for ham radio and they are 
good - very good - and I wish like heck that we had them available for 
the Mac. Until we attract more freeware, shareware and commercial 
programmers to the Mac side, we aren't going to have as many choices. 
Maybe someday, but they aren't here now.....
