I've used the Keyspan USB/serial adapters before, which all work 
fine. I've never used a "logear" unit before, so I don't know Mac 
compatible it is.

The usual rules apply: make sure you plug the adapter in before 
starting MultiMode, and make sure nothing else (other programs) are 
trying to use that serial port, especially any Palm software.
