MacAPRS (and most APRS programs) show the "gridsquare"
location on maps at, or near, the center of the actual
grid-square. Depending on the number of characters provided
in the grid-square, the actual area this could represent
could be rather large. 

The same is true, to some degree, using any reverse lookup
of gridsquare locations. The gridsquare really describes a
"rectangle" on the surface of the earth. In lots of places,
even a 6-character gridsquare could cover parts of several
countries, let alone cities.
