[Ham-Mac] Keyspan and Multimode

Hi Everyone,
I've been putzing around with my iBook all day, with some successes. I
upgraded to Panther, and while it was a generally uplifting experience,
the upgrade did break my Griffin iMic. After a bit of chasing around
the net, it looks like it was age related (old hardware/ firmware in
iMic). I did the update in classic, but no joy. At least this gave me
an excuse to go to the Apple store that just opened here in South
Jersey. Returned home with the new iMic (and no new iBook), plugged it
in and Multimode likes it just fine.
However, now MultiMode can't find my Keyspan USA-28X adapter. Other
programs can see the Keyspan adapter (MacLoggerDX and Mac Doppler Pro).
I upgraded to the latest and greatest (1.8) Keyspan driver, deleted the
Multimode plist, and repaired the permissions on the boot drive.
Anybody have any other suggestions? Before I go get another
Tigertronics SignaLink (I have that on my FT-817, and it works a
treat). This configuration is for the nomic that is attached to my K2.
Thanks and 73,
John AA2BN
