The USPS site (to pay/print shipping labels online) is similar. You need
to be running Windows to use it.

You're attacking the problem from the wrong end. Government agencies
will ignore you. You need to get the guys who control the purse strings
to do your dirty work for you.

Surely out of the 535 congress critters, one of them uses a Mac, and
could be persuaded to open a hearing on this? I'm sure we'd all love to
see someone in the hotseat answering questions on why the government is
paying big bucks for sloppy code. Add a few disabled veterans to the
hearing, explaining how they can't access the website, for good measure.
