[Ham-Mac] Hams and X - what it is and isn't

The Hams and X website is designed to provide a rudimentary list of
ham software that will run on Macintoshes under MacOSX, XR11, or Java
applets. All descriptions of the software are taken for the
developers/authors -- usually shortened. I do very selective editing
of the descriptions, but I don't write them. The lists provide links to
the home pages for the software, from which you get more information
and can download the program. For update information, you need to
check the homepages for the product...I don't provide information on
new updates. (I don't have the time or the desire to compete with a
Version Tracker!)

My current plans are to update the list twice monthly when there are
enough changes to warrant, or monthly if there aren't many changes.
I'll always post a note to this reflector when the site has been
refreshed.

If you know of software that is not included on the list, please let me
know and I'll add it at the next refresh! I'm sure there is some
programs I've not found that should be included. Hopefully the list
will be helpful to some of you in your search for more Mac amateur
radio software.

73 and gud DX
