Sorry about messing up the call signs and Volker names. I should have said
DL1KSV-Volker who is working wth Tom, K3ORC in the port of LinPsK to
darwinpsk. My red-faced error.

Regarding darwinpsk, I need to add some additional thanks to Kim, KC9BZL,
who helped me clear the nagging error message I was getting when I clicked
on the darwinpsk RX button. For some strange reason my fink .esd (sound
program) could not be found. If you happen to get the LinPsK nag note, just
go inside your sw folder and manually launch .esd from the X11 xterm
terminal window. It cleared the error and darwinpsk is happy.

I appreciate the efforts by several in porting LinPsK to run under Mac X11;
however, I would still prefer to see a native OSX PSK31 (and/or RTTY)
application with a waterfall display.

I am not a programmer but if someone is interested in taking on the task,
the author <[email protected]> of one of the most popular Windows based PKS31
programs, called DXPSK, is willing to share his Delphi (visual Turbo-Pascal)
source code to someone in the Mac community willing to do the port. The
DXPSK is described at http://dxfile.free.fr/dxpsk.ht. I think DXPSX is
based on AE4JY's WinPsk work efforts at described at
http://www.qsl.net/ae4jy/winpsk.htm where is states ...The program is free
to any licensed amateur radio operator.

I understand there is a new REALbasic 5 Mac OS X application that supports
both Mac and Windows and even comes with a Visual Basic Project Converter.
REALbasic is described at http://www.realbasic.com/.

Anyone on this list a RealBasic5 user willing to attempt the sex change?
