Sent to the list for info as well!

Hi Jacob,
I thought I would also reply to you off the list if I may.

1. The voice keyer idea sounds very feasible on a Mac using REALBasic to do
the coding it could be written I a few minutes I believe. You would need to
record your messages with another program ( there are plenty audio recorder
programs available for the Mac already) or with a little more work,
REAlbasic could also give you the option of recording. Control of the PTT in
the rig should also be possible via the serial port, I believe Multimode by
Black Cat systems does this.
I might have a go at doing this software myself, though I imagine that Black
cat systems will also think about it as that is right up his street!

2. WSJT - I am a user of JT44 and FSK441 here on the PC, they are excellent
programs, but I honestly don't think that they will ever run on a 7200/90.
It is more likely to be ported over from the Linux version of WSJT (which I
have not tried) and that would need an OS X machine to run it.
I am afraid that the level of programming required is way beyond my humble
capabilities, so I would not even attempt it. I could write a program to
record the audio into a file, but that is about it....

I recommend REALBasic if you want to play around (and do serious software)
on the Macintosh. It has the advantage that it also compiles for Windows
which gives you the best of both worlds.

Good luck and keep up the good suggestions for Ham programs coming in.
