It can range from trivial (recompile with no changes) to nearly impossible 
(having to start over from scratch). It depends heavily on what the program 
does and how it is written. All things equal, a Linux program is likely to
be easier to port to OS X than a Windows program. But there are surely
counterexamples of that.
