By the time it gets to my Linux e-mail client your "shift-opt-0" becomes
a black square. Those extended charcters can be trouble across
language/OS bountries. *smiles*
I haven't used it on OS X, but on 8 and 9 I use a font called anonymous.
It is bitmap, 9 pt only though...
