Hi there,

Did anobody try to install Xastir on X.2.6 ?

I tried to install Xastir on my TiBook 667 DVI / MacOS X.2.6 according 
Marinus PE1LIF's instructions on
http://members.chello.nl/~m.vanopzeeland/xastir.html

Everything was OK till I had to "dselect" the additional packages after 
Fink:
sometimes I got funny characters on the Terminal,
and I couldn't find files: imagemagick, wget, and libpng.
Is it serious doctor?
What happen if I can't download them with dselect and continue as if 
nothing happened?
What would you recommend to overcome this probable distribution change?
