I've been able to run EchoMac over 802.11b from my iBook through a D-link
wireless router.  Haven't tried it on an AirPort base station, but if you
can open ports 5198 - 5200 TCP & UTP for him, it should work just fine.  I
have NOT been able to make it work using "Popular Applications" or "DMZ"
settings.
