I realize that the question was about streetfinder or something but a 
few people are throwing in other suggestions, so me too. I'll just 
remind everyone about Xastir (www.xastir.org). This is a mature and 
feature rich mapping and APRS program. It supports many map formats 
(still looking to hear from someone that has figured out geotiffs). It 
is nice to hook up to a TNC and use it for APRS but it functions as a 
street level moving map display. I've used it with a variety of GPSi on 
my mac including GPS V, modified Tripmate, Trimble, and currently a 
Nextel i88 with a Purple Computing USB>Serial adapter. It compiles 
natively under OSX & X11 and runs smoothly on a PB G3 400. It has a 
dedicated user base that are willing to get others going with the 
program, and, oh yeah, it's free.
