Progress so far: Can receive PSK31 pretty good. With Chris's help
have worked around the problem of editing the MACROX.TXT file with
TextEdit (can't do it - need a ASCII text editor).
I am now trying to TX and I have been having a small problem with
trying to determine when it ix TX'ing my message. I am using
SignaLink SL 1+ and when the headphone is plugged into the SL 1 the
sound cuts off when it is TX'ing and stays off until I put t he
program back into RX.
I can plug the headphone into the Apple G5 and I can hear the
difference between when the message is being sent and when it is just
in TX. I can see the signal spike on the display on the Icom
756ProII and I see power on the meter so I guess I can assume that
the signal is going out?
However, I like to type ahead while receiving a message so that I can
TX as soon as the RX is over. (1) if a do this while RX is coming in
the red letters are interspersed with the black letters I am
receiving. (a) If after the message is received I then go to TX will
it send the message I have typed??? (b) is there any way to block up
the TX message in a separate window as I type it so that it is not
all mixed up with that being received???
