[Ham-Mac] Grounding my radios

I'm in the process of setting up my shack on the third floor of my
home. Because of condo regs, I have two antennas (one 6M and one 2M/70cm)
in the attic and will mount my MP-1 HF antenna on a little bracket on the
window sill so I can remove it when not in use.
I have an FT-817 which has a ground screw in the back, and an FT-8900R,
which doesn't have a ground screw. Should I even bother grounding these
radios? If so, what suggestions do you have concerning grounding? I know
that being three stories up is a problem, as dropping a ground wire out
the window for three stories starts to look resonant to the radio. I'll
be using an iBook for the computer, so there's no chassis there to try a
ground to.
