[Ham-Mac] Ground for new shack

Hello,

My house is currently under construction and I'm suffering with no 
radio online.

I have a question or two about grounds and hope I can get

During the foundation construction I had the contractor install an 
extra "ufer" bar tied to the foundation where my shack will be. The 
idea being that I can attach my equipment ground to it and it will tie 
to the house ground. Does this sound viable? Will I still need to add a 
ground rod? All my documentation is in storage so I can't access it now 
for info.
Any suggestions would be very welcome.
