I run Virtual PC on a Mac G4 Tower and G4 Titanium Powerbook. Running
Windows XP Home. I've also heard what you have about Windows 2000, but
so far anything that I couldn't run on XP doesn't run on 2000, and the
stuff I run on XP also ran fine, but a tad slower on 2000. FTBasic for
memory management on Yaesu radios doesn't work at all with Virtual PC
no matter what version of Windows you use.

WinPSK and WinPSKe work fine, Digipan, N3FJP's excellent contesting
software also run perfectly on either Windows.

Everything else John said covered it exactly, including the occasional
powerbook timesharing issues - they also cause(d) troubles with audio
and midi software for the same reasons.

And I'd do what he says about sticking to 2000, I might actually move
back there myself...

Good luck 73, Walter
