[Ham-Mac] Packet Radio Newby questions

I'm far from an expert on TNCs, but it appears to me that the 
Kantnronics units might have an advantage because of the RDCP/Mac 
program that will provide Packet, CW, RTTY, PSK31 (on some models), and 
other digital modes. RDCP works specifically with Kantronics units. 
I've used it a little and it seemed to work, but I'm not much into 
digital modes anymore unless you count CW as a digital mode. ;-)
