I never used White Knight. I only had RedRyder, but it was a great
program.
I did also run the TCPIP program that was quite nice with multiple
windows, etc.
Yes, the name Steve Fine sounds familiar.
My "MacRat" was really just a personal program to attempt to learn more
about the PK-232 (which was all new to me) and to learn Mac programming.
At that time, I had been away from ham radio for 10 years serving in
the Navy,
going to college, and grad school.
Please don't get the idea that I'm claiming any great accomplishment
with
my personal program, but I learned a lot. It was definitely not ready
for
prime time :)
I remember registering with WD1V and getting some shareware disks
after HyperCard 1.0 came out.
A new job pushed me to the dark side (PCs). A new son took away all of
my leisure time :)
