[Ham-Mac] Truly Amazing

Tim and others running Mac's X11,

I have been running Mac's X11 for some time now and have successfully 
installed several X11 app for use with it.  However, I have not been 
able to run OpenOffice.  It won't even launch.  Any others on this list 
have experience installing OpenOffice? (or maybe anyone on the list 
that is really proficient with UNIX that could give me some pointers.)
