You're kinda right.  I do use OS X for email and most web surfing.

I do, however, use the others because so many things that I have
used over the years were available only for Windows.

With BSD built-in to Mac OS X, forays into Linux are much less
frequent.

In my opinion, OS X is the best thing going with a great graphical
interface, a fairly large base of solid commercial applications, and
of course the underlying Un*x which permits about anything for
Linux to be recompiled or ported fairly easily.

Too bad some things for Macs are more expensive, though.
