To be fair Carl, I don't write for the older machines, because I don't
own any,
(my kids won't even play with them) and they can't do the kinds of
things I am
interested in doing.
Programmers are an adventurous lot, always trying to push the envelope,
try new
things, and the old clunkers just aren't very interesting.
But there is nothing to stop you from investing a few thousand hours of
your time
to develop the programs you want, and then donate them to the community.
