A little investigation here has led to a duplication of the problem that you
are getting.

Briefly it is caused by the method I used for checking the expiry date of
the beta - the date format needed to be US or British - sorry my mistake.
I will attempt to fix this now - I do want to keep an expiry date in the
beta software...

Once again sorry for the snags, but that is the reason we do beta testing!

If anyone who was having problems wants to test it just now, try changing
date format to US in your date and time control panel and it should run.
